ITR Pacific supplies bolt-on, clip-on and roadliner rubber pads which are all designed to protect delicate surfaces, such as roads or cement, from being damaged by machines tracking over them. All our rubber pads are manufactured with high-quality rubber and steel, which typically makes them 13% thicker than other aftermarket pads found on the market. As a result, ITR rubber pads have the added benefit of reduced noise and vibration when the machine is tracking. ITR rubber pads are competitively priced, suitable for all applications and are covered by a 12-month, full replacement warranty.

ITR Rubber Pads are suitable for all machines and are easy to install. We do also offer installation, so give us a call us if you would like to get your installation booked in today by our team of experienced installers.

A. It depends on what the machine is being used for and how long it may need rubber pads.

Bolt-On pads are the most durable and longest lasting of all the rubber pads as they bolt through the track which is a far stronger and safer connection compared to clip-on pads which rely on friction. Once installed, they are usually not removed until the rubber is worn down to the grouser.

Clip-On pads are generally used when an excavator or machine doesn’t have bolt holes in the track shoes that allow for rubber pads. They fasten to the track shoe using clips that are tightened with bolts using friction to secure the pad to the shoe. They have a added benefit for circumstances where a machine only needs pads for a short period of time and can be removed and stored and reused.

Roadliner pads bolt directly to the track chain, deleting the steel track shoe entirely. They are suitable for machines that are primarily working on asphalt, concrete or in rail applications where protecting surfaces from steel tracks is important. They are the most expensive of the rubber pad options and are costly to replace relative to clip-on and bolt on pads.

A. For clip-on and bolt-on pads, torquing the bolts during installation is not required. We supply all clip-on and bolt-on pads with spring washers, making installation simple if the bolts are not overtightened with an impact gun. If preferred, you can request the torque specification for the specific pad by contacting our sales team. Roadliner pads replace the steel track shoes, so their bolts must be torqued during installation.

A. All ITR Pacific rubber pads for excavators are covered by 12-month, full replacement warranty for any manufacturing defects and related failures.

A. Yes, rubber pads can be kept on permanently. However, for larger machines 20T and above and using clip-on pads, we would recommend only using the rubber pads when required. Larger machines needing clip-on rubber pads can be an expensive investment so by using the pads only when required, customers can reduce the risk of damaging pads while being used in applications the pads are not designed to be used in, such as unsealed, uneven and rough surfaces.

A. Yes, for some applications such as road profilers such as Wirtgen’s. But ITR Pacific will not supply polymer bolt on or clip on pads for excavators as we deem them to be too unsafe in wet and slippery conditions.

A. For excavators 1-35T, ITR Pacific has a solution for most machines with a track shoe width up to 800mm. Simply contact our sales team with your machine make and model and our sales team will determine if further information is required to provide you with a quote.

A. Yes, if grousers are worn past 75% this can affect how well a rubber pad can stay fastened to a track shoe. This is particularly important for machines using clip-on rubber pads.
